Agritourism in Tuscany near the sea

In the hills, only 10 minutes from the sea

The agriturismo for sea and nature lovers on the Etruscan Coast

The agritourism is located in Pomaia, on the Macchia al Pino hill, surrounded by greenery and the genuine scents of the earth and the saltiness rising from the Etruscan Coast.

The agritourism is ideal for spending your holidays in Tuscany near the sea, being won over by the simplicity, the good country air and the view of vineyards and olive groves.

Macchia al Pino offers its guests the familiar and relaxed atmosphere of a country cottage managed and cared for directly by the owners, with a large park, children’s play area, solarium and swimming poolwith a telescopic cover that allows it to be used even on cooler, windy days or while it is raining.

For our guests we also offer a breakfast and dinner service at our restaurant. Fixed-menu dinner with typical Tuscan products. The service is by reservation only.

Everything you can find in Pomaia

Pomaia offers its inhabitants and visitors the peace and tranquillity typical of country life, walks in the woods and fields, always in direct contact with nature and its beautiful colours all year round.

The village can be reached on foot in a few minutes; here you can find basic shops (grocery, bar, tobacconist, newsagent, post office, pharmacy, ATM).

A hamlet belonging to the municipality of Santa Luce, Pomaia was an ancient parish church of which we have records as far back as 1071, although the first settlements date back to the Etruscans.

The village has recently been rediscovered and revalued in terms of tourism as it is home to the Lama Tzong Khapa Institute, the most important Buddhist centre in Italy and one of the largest in Europe.

A few kilometres away is the LIPU naturalistic oasis of Lake Santa Luce, a nature reserve where many species of animals roam, making it a prestigious destination for birdwatchers.
